This area is perfect for a citibike station
There is a large health center here (Queens Blvd and 37th St) so it would be convenient for patients!
This is close to the 34th ave open streets. Hopefully one day Citi Bike will expand into Jackson Heights as well!
This is a high traffic location which is not too far from where other Citi bike stations are, making it easy to build out from the current infrastructure.
Almost a mile from nearest subway station. Near a school, church, and apartment buildings. Far enough away from shopping and public transit to warrant jumping on a bike.
On 43rd Street between 48th Avenue and 50th Avenue next to Celtic Park coop complex.
This area is too congested as it is. Trucks unloading for the grocery store, it is a small residential street. Too many pedestrians walking dogs, older people utilizing the benches. Not enough parking for the residents, or the park, many double park now causing congestion on this one lane road.
There is a large sidewalk area here. A good jumping off point
The park is set to undergo renovations. The park is very small as it is. They do want to lose any areas that set up for basketball courts or playground for the kids. We need and want a dog park and funds have been allocated. The bikes and traffic will cause further traffic. Also, many older people use this park to gather on a daily basis. Taking away their seating would be cruel.
Near hotel union medical center
