Northwest Bronx is not a good location- Streets are overly crowded, cars sometimes bump into one another; pedestrians need safe crossing without more congestion. 235 to 239th not safe, riverdale avenue btwn 254 and 260th not safe
None of the locations on Riverdale Avenue in the vicinity of West 232nd are good. There is heavy vehicular traffic and little pedestrian traffic, many gas stations and auto repair facilities in the are.
This is not a good location for Citibikes. The median is too small
Even as an avid cyclist, I would not feel comfortable getting on a bike so close to Broadway. Safety first!
Great spot! Safe and far from traffic.
Great spot! Away from the car and bus traffic of Broadway.
This intersection is not a good spot. Especially near the Jeep dealership, where cars are coming in and out. Too much through-traffic.
This would be a dangerous place for a docking station. Cars turning right to get on the highway do not stop for pedestrians, let alone bikes. Further up in Van Cortlandt Park, perhaps by the skate park or basketball courts would be safer.
This street already has issues with traffic due to the elementary school drop-off/pick-up. It is not a main street with a lot of foot traffic; bikes should be available on Broadway where there are commercial buildings not the residential.
Quiet street. Could also stop placard abuse.
