Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. This is a huge building with lots of residents and there is no bike storage indoors. People chain their bikes by the entrances of the building on both St Marks and Bergen sides, but there's not enough room for everyone. Sidewalk is large and wide enough to accommodate a big bike rack.
Citibike at this corner fills early during the day and empties very fast at the end of work. Bike parking nearby would likely also be very well used.

There are always bikes out here because people in the building own bikes. I always see 2-3 cargo bikes. There are many families with bikes and it would be nice to have secure storage for these bikes.
Having secure bike storage near our apartment will make it much easier for us to transport our 4 year old. It is burdensome to have to lug our bike up and down every day. Thank you!
