Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location

This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

Boardwalk - Ocean Promenade - Beach 91 St

Secure bike parking here (either along the board walk or on the public right of way and wide sidewalks at the turn around point) would allow people who bike to the beach the ability to leave their bikes for the day instead of taking them onto the sand. Also, close to the ferry stop

Lots of parents would benefit from secure bike parking if they could bike with their kids to school (ps10) and then the kids could lock their bikes outside of school for the day. Also next to a bus stop
