Would be great to have a bike rack here!
Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to SecureBikeParkingNYC@dot.nyc.gov.
Would be great to have a bike rack here!
These bike storage facilities would be best used near transit junctions, where people may ride to catch a train, such as Barclays, Penn, Grand Central, and so on.
Please add secure bike parking in front of Nitehawk. The area is very bike accessible and leaving a bike parked on the street isn't a great option when you're watching a movie for multiple hours! I'd love to be able to bike to a movie and not be stressed the whole time that my bike might be gone by the time I get out.
Hi there! We are at 625 Bergen Street and would be so happy to have a bike rack (or two!) outside of our business (Farm.One). We have several employees who commute by bike along with many visiting guests who would love to utilize that resource! Thank you for your consideration! Best, Kate Ginna
good block for secure bike parking - there are several bike racks on the west side of this block that are consistently full
Secure bike parking along Cortelyou, along bike paths, near the library and a school. Lots of families and individuals use bikes in this area, but storing them is difficult. Near the Q station, close to Prospect Park.
Secure bike parking along Cortelyou (a busy road) would be amazing! Buildings in the area don't typically have building bike storage. Somewhere in between the Q and the F would be great, too, for people that live in between. Having a place to park your bike so you can get east/west within Brooklyn would be great.
Site within or near curb extensions
Place in or near the curb extensions
Overnight bike storage here would service the hospital staff in addition to the neighborhood residents. There is fantastic bike trail access is this neighborhood (Inwood Hill, VanCordtland, Greenway, etc) however residents don't have a safe place to store bikes overnight.
