So many bikes in the UWS I hope we can get a secure parking
Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to SecureBikeParkingNYC@dot.nyc.gov.

Placing bike parking here makes it easier for residents to commute to the park, school, and churches without relying on cars. This is especially helpful here, since public transit is fairly sparse on this side of the BQE.
Need Secure Bike Parking Location on Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd between W 131 St and W 132 St.

As a longtime resident, I would invest in a membership to store a cargo bike on my block.
I've had a bike stolen in this area while visiting BAM. I hate to think that members of our community might feel discouraged from riding their bikes to see films and performances, or worse that they might not engage with BAM's programming at all because of bike theft in the area.

Would love overnight cargo bike parking in this area
I add my endorsement to another suggestion to have bike parking here. Right next to Franklin Street Subway station and on a part of the street that does not see motor traffic.
