Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. This is now an elementary school and it deeply requires cargo bike and regular bike parking

It would be great to have bike storage by the L train Lorimer Stop
Tennis courts and PadelHaus and Vital Gym and McCarren Park in general are all frequently visited by e-bikers and cyclists in general. This intersection covers a common route over from the waterfront and is right by the tennis courts.
I can't carry my bike up the stairs to my apartment because it's too heavy--and being able to lock it in a secure covered location on the street, including during the winter, would save me a lot of money in maintenance costs and prevent theft. Please bring many of these shelters to brower park!
Very close to huge CityView tennis/padel facility and LIC YMCA, many use bikes or e-bikes to visit rather than drive, especially to be more active.
