Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. Lots of bike traffic near here, but putting the storage on Bennett instead of a major road would prevent people from having to step into traffic to retrieve bikes.
Excellent because of long strip of open and wide sidewalk.
Penn South has many seniors and cycling may help with their mobility
Designated Pickup Spot for nearly all Film and TV production shooting shooting in Long Island. Would be absolutely great for hundreds of crew members.
PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE. Do not take up any additional parking spaces. So many has already been taken by CitiBikes. People will park at hydrants and many other unpermitted areas because there is no other choice. It is not fair, because people have had their vehicles since before all these spots began being removed and now there are fewer and fewer places to park. Please don't forget, this is the city that never sleeps. Some of us are getting home after midnight. Please use the wider sidewalks for this initiative.

Really busy area for bike commuters who need overnight parking protected from the elements.
Outside 3646 37th street, it’s an nyc small business kit guy en incubator space with a neighboring crossfit gym. Lots of local community members in Astoria would benefit from safe bike storage in this area
