Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

This area could really use a bike storage facility considering the already-existing infrastructure with bike lanes on Broadway. Notably it is very difficult to leave a bike here without disrupting pedestrian flow (i.e. imagine ktown at 8pm on a weeknight). Finding the right place to have storage around this area would be a great idea.
Multiple bikes including 3 cargo bikes chained to a fence and trees
There were multiple bike stands here, always double or triple full, and which have recently been removed. Bike parking near the subway stop, shops, and gym are needed.
No bike parking not even a loop
A bike storage anywhere in this area would be a fantastic way to encourage cycling into this extremely busy area that is already restricted to vehicles. If you have walked around flushing around 5pm on a weekday, you would know that the driving here is an absolute madhouse. Considering there is already a bus-only corridor, having bike-commute support would make a lot of sense. Thank you for your consideration.
Please install bike racks in front of 637 and/661 41st St
Using existing parking lots for this type of thing is an opportunity we should be looking at in all parks where park space is instead used for vehicle storage. Somewhere in or near Corona Park would be huge for people visiting museums, attending events, etc.
Big parking lot in Astoria Park - if we're not going to use it for park space that everyone can use, at least we could diversify the types of vehicles that can be stored here. Great spot that wouldn't take away space from other typs of usage - it's already parking!
The Open Street is an obvious good location for bike storage and lots of apartment residential in the area that would be in need of secure parking
