Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

I am not allowed to had a bike in my backyard due to landlords orders, and my bike is taking up so much space in my small apartment up a 3 story walk up. I’d love to bike more but carrying it up and down the stairs can be tiring. I’d love secure parking close to where I live. Thank you for all you do. -Kaydren

There was a new staircase installed recently leading up to the 1 train. Under those stairs would be a great place

A second family living on 86th street that cannot get a cargo bike as there is nowhere to park them outside of 328 west 86th street. There are many families living in the street, a couple of cargo bikes already parked outside in scaffolding and would greatly appreciate more parking.
