Please put bike program on Bay Parkway and 86th Street in front of TD Bank on one corner and Citibank on the other corner. We have illegal vendoring and vagrants on these corners and the Bike program would be so much better.
Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

Bike parking is sorely needed near the Bayside LIRR station. This would reduce car trips.
Adding secure bike parking near the Bayside LIRR station would reduce car trips more than almost anywhere else in the city. There is no safe place to park a bike anywhere near here. The existing bike rack outside the station is littered with scrap from stolen bikes.
Soo many locked up bikes!
High-density residential, hospitals, schools, etc
Lots of people ride bikes and in this building and park outside would benefit from secure bike parking.
The intersection of 6th Ave and Flatbush ave has a lot of dead space and is close to the Bergen stop. Underutilized island and side streets
Secure bike parking would definitely be helpful here at the 74th Station. It's a major hub here in Jackson Heights.
Would also be nice to have one at 125/lex express stop, especially since the Q will stop there soon and it connects to Metro North
There are lots of cyclists on my block, but not enough poles to store bikes, and many people have small apartments that lack room to store bikes. This block badly needs to be daylighted as well, so placing a bike locker on the street at the corner of Linden St and Bushwick Ave could be a good way to achieve those 2 aims.
