Bike parking in the existing parking lot near the train station/bus terminal. Large transportation hub for the area
Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.
Bike parking in the existing parking lot near the train station/bus terminal. Large transportation hub for the area
Please add an enclosed secure bike parking here
Helpful to have parking near only train station in the area. Parking lot already exists, helpful to have it there as an alternative to driving to the parking lot
This location is close both to lots of high-density buildings as well as the Franklin Ave Medgar-Evers stop on the 2, 3, 4, 5. Lots of cyclists around here. There is also tons of on-street parking on this street, and one spot could be replaced with this bike locker.
Agreed. So much space under the highway to add in more bike parking. Even partially elevated parking or bike wall racks that can go above or adjacent to cars.
Would love long-term storage for both cargo bikes and regular bikes!
