Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location

This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to SecureBikeParkingNYC@dot.nyc.gov.

Our building does not have room for any bike storage for residents. It would be amazing for residents to be able to use a secure bike storage facility in front of our apartment. Many residents would use this. Our block is a bit of a disaster when it comes to the curb. Their is chronic placard abuse due to a nearby MTA office and NYPD precinct. Anyone with an orange vest on the dashboard just parks their vehicle for free for days, weeks, or even months. Employees of the auto center across the street also illegally park in front of our building. This year there was a car belonging to an employee of the auto center that literally sat in front of our building for 2 months during multiple snow storms. I would be so happy to see the curb used for bikes!
