This would be a great place to install bike storage as it is out of the way and not cluttering a busy pedestrian area, park or historic landmark.
Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

We need bike and cargo bike parking near schools. Many parents at my school bike their kids to school and then hop on the subway to get to work in Manhattan. Secure bike parking near the school would be a huge help. I've designated my son's school here but this is a request for bike parking near ALL NYC schools.
Please do not install these racks on the edge of any of the city's historic parks where they will create visual clutter and detract from pedestrian enjoyment of spaces.
In front of 886 ave I.
Multiple business in the area that sell large bulky items. For securing cargo bikes during retail hours.
Secure parking near the 31st Ave and 33rd St intersection would be great!

Please do not visually clutter this historic block and transit hub with bike storage. Move it a block or two away to a smaller side street or alley way, closer to a residence. Able-bodied cyclists can walk a block or two.
For commuters to store bikes during the day as no bike storage available in office.
This would be a great spot for bike parking since it's an underutilized space near existing Citibike parking
