There's a new public plaza being built here. There's plenty of space to add secure bike parking that will be used by workers in the numerous businesses and city offices in the area. Many larger office buildings in this area do not provide secure bike parking for employees.

A lot of people in this area bike. Between its proximity to prospect park, new shops opening like lidl and the mount of new housing going up with another upcoming major housing in this spot, I feel like it makes a ton of sense to have secure bike parking here.

Bike-heavy residential block with lots of walk-up apartment buildings which lack bicycle storage. Public bike racks on this block are always full, indicating that folks on this block commute by bicycle and that demand for bicycle storage is strong.
