I commute to this area a lot and the places inside are very small to bring a bike in. This would be ideal.
Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

There’s great need for secure bike parking for cargo bikes on this street as there are many families without storage or garage space. There’s a new apartment building going in at 305 2nd St that will also contribute to demand.

Great spot near trails and homes for people who bike to work from this neighborhood.
Intersection of the two protected bike lanes would make sense for long- and short-term storage.
In front of Queens Borough Hall, there is a very very wide sidewalk that could accommodate a large secure bike parking area. It would benefit the many government employees and visitors. Other opportunities may exist on other sides of the property or in the Queens Blvd median.
Great spot near trains and stores. good for short term & overnight parking for commuters
Bike storage near Halsey st L stop would be great! lots of cars commute in to park and then commute via subway
A shed on the 34th Ave corridor just makes sense. This spot would be the most convenient for me personally.
Bike storage here please!
