Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. This is a high bike theft area and near Madison Square Park, Baruch College, and other destinations
Under the BQE, there's a bike corridor, by leonard. we could take one or 2 parking spots and make it a safe parking location. Otherwise on the Badame Sessa Memorial Square.
Very important to have a large secure bike parking locker near Penn Station - this will be one of the highest demand lockers in the system, so it must have enough space
Last mile transportation via ferry is essential. There should be one of these in every ferry station.
There's space in this triangle for a locker that could host all types of bikes including Ebikes. Cycling is popular in this area and my coop has a 10+ year waiting list for secure, indoor bike storage. My family wants to purchase an ebike but are holding off because we don't have a secure place to store it. Would love a locker we could use while we wait for our coop space. Also, many others in my coop don't have a spot and park on sidewalk, and struggle with theft if bikes, theft of panniers, etc.
There are a lot of offices around this area. I work around here as well, I would love to keep my cargo bike secured while working.
