Residents that live in this general area of Bedstuy have to walk longer to the train. As a substitute a good amount resolve riding their own bikes. It would be great if we can install a few in this area. Thank you.
Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

Protected bike parking should be at major transport hubs - Penn, Fulton, Grand Central, Atlantic Terminal
Parking on Irving is rarely entirely taken up
There should be multiple up and down paseo park, both for people to "walk to the garage" and then bike along 34th, or for people to leave their bike when visiting.
Lots of deliveristas live around here and have to keep bikes locked to signs. Also coops sometimes have bike storage, but many in JH have only "hook-style" storage.
Please give us secure bike parking at this location!
I work at a high school in this building, where many teachers ride their bikes (and more students say they would), were it not for the landlord-provided bike rack that is incredibly easy to steal bikes off of.
I would definitely bike to see a movie at IFC more often if there were secure bike storage nearby.
I live here and making a safe and secure bike parking location on this corner would be great.
this location is vital for bike storage, as so many people commute to this Coney Island area - it is near the aquarium, boardwalk/beach, as well as transit - but not at the major intersection of congested Stillwell ave
