Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

It's the only thing that's missing in an otherwise very bike friendly neighborhood. Thank you for your consideration.
We need a place for bikes in this area. A lot of people ride around here. We’re close to Coney Island.
This would be a great street for residential parking. It is a side street, but there are a handful of coffee shops, businesses, and other small areas that cause demand that would be helpful for residents as well as those stopping to get a bite to eat or frequent a store.
This Plaza is a great location for a very large secure bike rack. It needs activation and has an unused property that could be given a FAR addition or setback exception for their willingness to work eith the city.
Ample space for regular bike storage overnight. Two racks already exist on this location, but enough space to add storage without interfering with car traffic/pedestrian flow.
This is an island on Borinquen and Keap where there is already a couple of racks installed. It would be ideal since there is enough room and would not impede pedestrians, car owners from parking/walking in that area.

Standard, longer term. Lots of bikers in the area and many reports of storage not possible in buildings but security problems having them kept outside! This neighborhood needs city investment and infrastructure involvement as one of the most densely populated areas in Brooklyn!

People do not have space to store bikes and some bikes disappear and are vandalized from racks. They steal the wheels, etc We need safe parking here in Jackson Heights.
