Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to SecureBikeParkingNYC@dot.nyc.gov.
Bike parking close to 46th street (M/R line) station.
There are open spaces where bike storage can easily fit. Adjacent to the new 31st Ave bike lane.

Really need the bike parking there!
Suggesting regular bike parking. Close to Central Park and many large residential buildings.
This would be a great spot for protected bike storage.
With a direct artery to the central park loop on west 90th street, secure bike parking on that street somehere between Amsterdam and Columbus would be incredibly convenient for those of us living on the UWS.
There is a very large portion of sidewalk in front of the manhattan day and night school on the SE corner of 15th St and 2nd Ave that would be an ideal bike parking location (street view shows scaffolding but that is gone now). I live on the block and ride a cargo bike that I use to take my daughter to school every day and then ride to work. The bike was recently stolen with the kryptonite chain being easily cut through… fortunately I was able to get the bike back but spend ages now locking up with an even bigger lock/chain as well as securing the seat and front wheel, so having a secure place would really help. If next to the building is not a suitable location, the opposite side of the street bordering the park would be ideal as well. Those spaces had been reserved for the hospital but that closed and so only recently became open spots.
