Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to SecureBikeParkingNYC@dot.nyc.gov.

This would be a great spot for a bike rack/storage, as it is the cross streets for two important bike thoroughfares across Brooklyn and into Manhattan underserved by current bus and subway options.

Secure, dedicated bike parking would be great. There are many nearby Citibike stations, so this makes sense as a likely area of need.
This would be an amazing location for folks to park their bikes and take the ferry into Manhattan or Brooklyn (!) now, and I think for commuters it could help to have enough space for cargo bikes. I would also love to park my bike here after carrying it on the ferry and explore Staten by foot and bus.
