Court St - 3 Pl - Brooklyn

Many of the building on the block are historically preserved with narrow stairways that make storing a bike very difficult. Street storage here would convert subway commutes to bike rides at a station (Carroll F/G) that is set to experience a massive usage increase as the Gowanus population explodes.

there are many residential buildings and even more being built in this area. i think adding one of these near the stations but somewhere not too crowded would be very helpful. i (among others) would like to bike but one of the bigger barriers is storage, this would definitely be a great incentivizer. i currently citibike to work because the bus is so unreliable and its my current best option, itd be great if i could have my own bike and safe storage for it. there are also many families in these buildings/area who would certainly utilize this service. theres many bike lanes around and this location is between two citi bike docks.

Ebike for short term, long term, overnight, and weekends! It would be great not to have to bring up my bike everyday just so it isnt taken or messed with. I would probably ride it much more often if I could keep it locked somewhere other than my apartment. battery charging stations and tire pumps would be great as well.

If possible, converting the parking spaces for cars with mixed use (type 1 for long term storage & type 2 for on-demand) would allow people in the area to safely park their bikes while enjoying the park.
