Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location

This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

Box St - Manhattan Ave - Mcguinness Boulevard

Around Box St/Manhattan Ave intersection would be nice, so many large residential buildings and people come to Lincoln Market to shop. The new NY Liberty facility right here would also be a big draw in the future.

16 St - 11 Ave - Prospect Park Southwest

This would be a great place for bike storage. There is already a Citibike station in a little median carved out here. There is an entrance to the park right across the street. Also many families in this area live in townhouses or brownstones that do not have anywhere to store a cargo bike.

40 St - Queens Boulevard - Queens Boulevard

Transit hub with 7 train, Q32, Q60 immediately adjacent. Bike to Greenpoint, BK in 10 minutes. Bike to Astoria in under 10 minutes. Lot's of room currently taken by metered parking would be so much better used for secure bike parking.
