Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to SecureBikeParkingNYC@dot.nyc.gov.

This divider serves no purpose as it stands today. Adding Secure Bike Parking here at this intersection will benefit the many government workers in the area who bike to work and lock up their bikes on the few sign poles in the immediate area.
Near bike lane
All along Irbing lots of underutilized space and limited parking demand but lots of foot/bike traffic near union sq
Need secure biking storage at this location.
This would be very useful at the most important corner between 96 and Columbia

Across Lincoln Rd outside of the Prospect Park B/Q/S station is the perfect candidate. that side of the sidewalk is much lower traffic, it is perfectly located to both serve the local area and park visitors too. Additionally, Lincoln Rd (between flatbush and ocean) is an incredible candidate for a new bus-only + ped/bike plaza. Including bike storage infrastructure, alongside the new protected ocean ave bike lane that will connect grandarmy to the entire eastern and souther perimeter of the park would be amazing. This intersection is shaping up to be a major micromobility junction in central brooklyn.
Would love to see secure bike parking that is available to long-term bed-stuy residents in multi-unit buildings and is not solely in service to new developments.
There is a street divider at this location that is being taken over by illegal parked vehicles from the Jewish community. This would be a perfect location for bike storage as there is already a Citi bike station right here and it’s the beginning of a bike lane on Union Ave.
