This block is a largely residential block of brownstones. Renting in a brownstone means I don't have dedicated bike storage and I have to carry my bike up and down 3 flights of stairs anytime I want to ride. I used to lock it on the stoop, but one day my tires were stolen. It would be nice to have secure storage that doesn't require carrying my bike up the stairs every day

This T-Intersection (Ocean Ave & Crooke Ave) is a constant danger to pedestrians who are trying to cross. Despite the tremendous number of double-parked cars, there are still many bikers who bike around here. Adding bike storage would tackle a few issues. For one, it would provide some much-needed daylighting for crossing the street (a painted crosswalk would also be a welcome change). Secondly, this would provide proper parking for an area that doesnt really have many public bike racks to begin with. A mixture of the new private bike parking and public racks would be greatly appreciated in this area.

There are multiple longtail cargo bikes parked on this block that belong to residents — it would be so nice to have somewhere secure to store them!

It would be good to have secure bike parking adjacent to a public school for special needs children and a private school (Calhoun). The residents could use it at night while the school staff could use it during the day. It will serve a great need as it is between two subway stations.
