Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to SecureBikeParkingNYC@dot.nyc.gov.

Would be great to add some SBP at Fulton Park. There’s a subway entrance for the Utica A/C along the south side of the park, and many people lock their bikes to the park fence outside the subway entrance.
Would be great at such a busy transportation hub.
Thanks for doing this!
Many people in this area use bikes, especially on 37th Avenue, so bike storage would be amazing! However, there are many trees around here that have abandoned bikes locked to them for weeks, months, or longer. I would love to see the department's ideas for how abandoned bikes at storage facilities could be handled. But, overall, I am very excited for this project! Thank you!!
The location near the Jefferson L station is a commercial center and has many residents living to the north/northwest that are not well-served by the subway. Increasing bike access to the subway by offering secure parking will increase the ability of local residents to make multimodal trips. The sidewalk on Wyckoff Ave is also wide and conducive to buildouts.
I am writing to formally request the installation of a bike rack in front of my business, Mecca Supermarket, located at 1329-1331 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY 11216.
Requesting evaluation for a bike station at PS 154 Jonathan D. Hyatt, 333 E 135th St, Bronx 10454. Multiple staff bike-commute daily, and a growing number of families bike kids to drop-off and pick-up. Sidewalk has clear width for a standard installation. Would support Vision Zero, ease curbside congestion at dismissal, and encourage active transport in Mott Haven. - PS 154 PE Teacher
