Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location

This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

Lots of cargo bikes in this area. Would be great to have a secure parking option here.

Lots of space and demand over here! This would also be an excellent area for a bike repair station and pump

On 34th Ave between 77th and 76th St, I would really appreciate a category 1 bike parking. My bike parts have been stolen so often, and this will immensely help me to bike without having any anxiety.

Plenty of space by the school on the corner, or across on the quiet residential strip with no business entries!

West 84 St - Amsterdam Ave - Broadway

This section of street is near hundreds of units of housing on Broadway between 84 and 86th and does not interfere with existing businesses and would not interfere with resident or commercial parking (unlike 85 or 86 streets), or bus lanes

Queens Boulevard - Union Turnpike - 80 Rd

This divider serves no purpose as it stands today. Adding Secure Bike Parking here at this intersection will benefit the many government workers in the area who bike to work and lock up their bikes on the few sign poles in the immediate area.
