Honestly LIRR stations are the best spots for these bike garages. People can bike from their house to the stations and they are set up in decent distance to avoid over crowding.

There is a community garden here; more bike parking would be nice.

This park is a major destination for recreation as well as an existing throughway for bike traffic. Would love to see more bike storage options. It would also be really good to see a raised pedestrian crossing at this location to connect between the two halves of the park. This road is a really dangerous and difficult to cross. Trying to go up or down to the marked crosswalks can be even more dangerous than crossing in the middle of the street because of the number of cars turning and the speed of this street. We really need both more bike storage and a stop light/sign with a pedestrian crossing at this location before someone gets hurt.

This whole area (east of Fresh Pond Road to Traffic Avenue, from Grove Street on the north to Madison Street on the south) could use some amazing secure bike storage like that found in residential neighborhoods of London. There are too many bikes locked to trees, sign posts, and house railings suffering exposure to the elements and theft. We need residential bike parking infrastructure that helps encourage bike ridership.

You would never know it from street view, but there is a vibrant coworking space/events space/community hub centered around Savino's Pasta Shop and the co-located Fractal Tech Hub. This is a neighborhood destination for literally hundreds of people every week for a variety of community-led events, talks, and workshops. Many people travel here by bike and many more would if they had the means to securely store their bikes at ground level.

Utica Ave A/C (and bus stop) is a major bike-commuter location (as evidenced by the three existing nearby citi-bike stations which are often fully emptied out or overflowing during peak usage hours). You will often see bike-commuters making-do by chaining their bikes to the park railing in this area do to the lack of dedicated bike racks. This causes conflict between the parks department and the bikers, since this is not an officially allowed use of the park railings and bikes sometimes need to be removed in order for park maintenance. We would do well to provide affordance for the "desire path" of more bike parking at this commuter node. If not protected bike storage, at least a large number of standard bike racks here, would accommodate the demonstrated demand for bike storage options.
