Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location

This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

Lispenard St - Church St - Broadway

Half of this side of the block is already citibikes. I suggest adding an equal amount of bike storage for commuters to the canal st. area and locals who live in walk up apartments.

Roughly 2,000 residents (mainly families) in this prewar coop with small apartments, near K bridge bike path and Newtown Creek Greenway. This CB has the highest proportion of bike commuters in Queens.

Metropolitan Ave - Union Ave - Lorimer St

Secure bike storage at the Lorimer L Station so that I can ride home from the train late night since the B48 bus only runs once an hour then.

This is a popular e-bike hub in the neighborhood and would benefit from bike parking!

I have an pedal assist that I am not allowed to store in the building. Would love outdoor storage as I am an every day bike commuter!
