Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. I have an pedal assist that I am not allowed to store in the building. Would love outdoor storage as I am an every day bike commuter!
Please add bike parking here! There is none on the street itself at all.
Bike storage for people taking the train, going to the park etc. I believe there is room for it here

Echoing other comments there is a lack of bike racks and storage in our area
I would love a long-term storage option here as it's hard to take my bicycle up the stairs everyday to my apartment. Many of my neighbors have now just started leaving their bikes locked outside with the tree railings. I believe a big long-term bike storage is essential in this area. Just one walk down the block and you'll see maybe 10 bicycles parked outside getting ruined in the elements. Even expensive bicycles left outside. They all need more protective and secure storage. Much if us don't even have front yard space as well and live in walk up apartments.
This is a large pass through area for commuters between Sackett and Union streets. These are in feeds from Red hook and columbia street waterfront that eventually take the brooklyn bridge. Since Columbia street and red hook are transit deserts, this would be a great opportunity to shore up large cycling-commuter neighborhoods with safe parking.
Suggested bike locker location
This location is near a school on a street that is already pedestrianized, and is near the 4th Avenue protected bike lane.
We would love secure bicycle parking on our street! Thanks!
