Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location

This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

Hewes St - South 5 St - South 4 St

There is a large walkup rental building (362 Hewes Street) across the street that has 32 units. Several delivery bikers. The building across has no frontage to Hewes and is a perfect spot for this area.

Clifton Pl - Grand Ave - Classon Ave

There are several residential buildings on Clifton without elevators which could use a secure place to store our bikes. The sidewalks are particularly wide in certain spots too, which would make this block perfect for it.

Many bikers and many pedestrians in the area that need lots of bike parking. This area is a desert. We need bike parking ASAP.

East 22 St - Gravesend Neck Rd - Avenue W

This is a great location for bike parking. Lots of parents bike to pick up their kids. Scooters also. There's a few business near by where the workers bike in, I see them every morning. I see bikes locked up in front of houses in the neighborhood. I think it's a great spot.
