Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. Bike parking would be a lifeline for rowhomes without easily accessible communal storage; many units on the street simply cannot store a bike
We need secure bike parking in this area. There's a large concentration of families that could use a cargo bike but because they have nowhere to park it, it's very difficult. Everyone defaults to cars and the whole area is already saturated with cars.
E cargo bike storage would be great
Storage for e cargo bike would be awesome
There are so many cargo bikes on 3rd st and not enough places to lock up! Also it’s a main thoroughfare to the park.
This stretch of Amsterdam Avenue (80th-85th) has a lot of restaurants and delivery drivers, but very little parking. Parking would be helpful for both people coming here via bike and delivery drivers on break.
I currently have to haul my bike up from my basement every time I want to use it. There are many bikers on my block (based on how many store them in the basement) and many more who would love to bike if there was storage nearby. Thank you!!
Families in the neighborhood could use cargo bike storage here!
This area (Diversity Plaza Triangle) is not suitakle for any other use but is PERFECT for secure private bike storage (and additional Citi Bike docs for that matter) given that this is the busiest station in the outer boroughs and serves a huge walkshed. The ability to securely park your own bike here would be a game changer for many people.
I think this would be a good location.
