Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. This is an extremely heavily used bike area and would really benefit from having a bike storage site. The A train is just a block away.
Requesting short-term bike racks at or near the corner of 2nd Street and 54th Avenue, by 52-37 2nd Street, Long Island City, NY 11101. A new pickleball facility is opening on that corner, with customers and staff expected to arrive by bike daily. The ideal location would be on 54th Avenue, a few yards from the 2nd Street intersection — the facility's main entrance will be on 54th Avenue.
This would be a great spot for Newswalk Residents. There are at least 10 cargo bikes in our expensive and dirty garage.
Helpful please! No where to park
I live in 1010 Gates Ave and I see a lot of bikes they don't really have a place to park. Also my building doesnt have a bike room. PLS consider installing bike parking here! Thanks

Very big need for secure parking.
Like another commenter said, there's a huge amount of unused space directly under the LIRR tracks here at Nostrand that would be perfect for more permanent secure parking for lots of bikes. It would help connect biking to the LIRR and the A/C station two blocks up. Perfect for cargo bike-sized as well because people like me bring small children and lots of stuff to/from the train. Thank you!
Need bike parking on Metropolitan between Ascan and Woodhaven to enable car-free access to this second commercial heart of Forest Hills.
Many bikes are chained to the fence at Ralph Bunche Park making it difficult to open the park gates and have caused damage to the plants. Sometimes they are even chained to the trees. This is harmful to the trees.
