Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location

This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

Desperately in need of bike racks - Many of the residents and workers in the area bike daily, as CitiBike is unreliable in the area (all docking stations full.) We are in need of adequate structures to secure our bicycles, yet there are none in the area. Many bikes are locked to the traffic signage, etc. Not only are there enough of them, but they are not suitable for bikes.

East 86 St - Park Ave - Park Ave

86 street is a major subway stop on a subway line with 1.3 million daily riders. Grate spot for transfer from or to the subway and also use it as a space to park from people who biking across central park along the 86th St. crossing in central park
