Community Engagement and Planning about Biking in Queens

It was such a great event celebrating Latin culture in Corona. Thank you to everyone that stopped by our tent and left a comment on our feedback boards and picked up a palm card on the project. DOT spoke with approximately 300 people in support of our continued efforts to improve the way we engage with the public on transportation issues and needs and increase participation in the planning process. Our Spanish-speaking Street Ambassadors made it possible to communicate with everyone that attended. Everyone who posted their feedback on biking left with a free bike bell! We will continue to pop-up in Elmhurst, Jackson Heights, East Elmhurst, and Corona.
