Community Engagement and Planning about Biking in Queens

DOT tabled at the Queens Pride Festival held in Jackson Heights. Street Ambassadors explained the goals for the Big Jump project to festival-goers and signed up 125 people to our mailing list. Some people were excited to try out our bike radii activity which estimates how far one can travel by bike in a 5 minute or 15 minute radius from their starting location compared to walking. Ambassadors handed out free bike bells to anyone that stopped by their table.
