High traffic intersection where trucks pose a serious danger. Light cycle on myrtle is confusing and leads to vehicles still moving through the intersection as peds begin crossing the street. Also here trucks park on the plaza or adjacent to the plaza creating visibility issues.
Oversize tractor trailers and dump trucks routinely use E36th and E37th street to cross midtown. They intimidate pedestrians at every corner
Lots of trucks turning into Laight St- need better signs and enforcement
Trucks speeding and running red light
INTERSECTION SHOULD INCLUDE A "LOCAL DELIVERIES ONLY" SIGN.
Church and Caton Avenue are so dangerous. Make them one direction instead of bi-directional. Eliminate left hand turns, get rid of street parking, create curb bump outs and breaking up the long sections so trucks and cars aren't speeding.
The entire bus lane on Church Ave is constantly blocked by trucks unloading goods for commercial businesses leading to honking, congestion, and delayed busses.
Church Avenue between Westminster and Flatbush is the worst section of Church Avenue. Police do not enforce ANY of the parking rules and this section of Church always gets backed up. People are double/triple parking, people using my block as a parking lot, business receive deliveries with over size trucks. It's a disaster.
Monitor has been an illegal cut through route for trucks for decades! There is a school and a park and huge trucks regularly speed through here.
