Since after Covid, commercial trucks have been terrorizing residential neighborhoods, releasing toxins in the atmosphere which affects air quality. In a time with NYC is planning to reduce it's carbon foot print, our community is experiencing the opposite as these truck increase our carbon footprint. These truck emerging in 2021 and have since been embolded . Where were they parking prior to 2021?

Nearby schools are exposed to heavy truck traffic which causes poor air quality for students and teachers. Lack of green spaces to mitigate the poor air quality and extreme heat.

A lack of adequate truck signage along this route makes this difficult for me to navigate as a pedestrian. Please make signage more visible along this street, and in the general Whitestone area when redesigning truck networks.

Regularly see transportation trucks ignore pedestrian Crossing for children and families accessing PS 249 school and play ground and parade grounds park area. Trucks honk at families and children every morning. Trucks create massive amount of exhaust and air pollution. Amount of noise pollution from constant engine, breaking, Honking, and engine noise. Massive conflicts abound.

Schools nearby and frequent speeding, car crashes, and cars parked blocking pedestrian crosswalks obstructing view for drivers and pedestrians increasing the chance of an incident.

Massive noise and air pollution from trucks. Trucks honk at pedestrians. Trucks run past red and yellow lights at intersections. Engine breaking and exhaust pollute the sound and air. Keaton Avenue is a place where people live and children go to school and play at the park. It is not a place for trucks.

Absolute disregard for pedestrian crossings. Disregard for children crossing the street to get to the school right on this street and Avenue. Trucks honk children. Trucks honk at families. Massive engine, breaking noise and exhaust poisoning the pedestrian environment along Caton Avenue.

Absolutely terrible sound from truck traffic. High impacts to pedestrian environment and health. Terrible air quality immediately outside residences, children's schools, play areas, and Park. Terrible noise from truck honking, and horns.
