Trucks are going through red light which is extremely dangerous especially when school is entering and dismissing. They make extremely wide turns.
The NYC Truck Route Network is a system of designated roads that helps commercial vehicles navigate the city efficiently. It aims to:
Connect primary freight origins and destinations.
Maximize access to industrial and commercial zones.
Minimize conflicts with residential areas and vulnerable road users.
This network is crucial for supporting the local economy and livability by:
Organizing neighborhood truck activity
Reducing traffic congestion on non-designated routes
Feedback Guidance:

Thanks
Yes, in my opinion, they should close the avenue at the time of entry and exit of the students, because the truth is that it is very dangerous when children cross third avenue, I saw the other time that some students were almost run over at the exit of the school
Trucks are speeding and not careful when turning. Trucks are beeping and rushing to move. Trucks at times don't follow the traffic signs.
Trucks are speeding
The big concern on 60th Street and 3rd Avenue is that right on this corner there are two elementary schools. It is a busy avenue and hundreds of trucks of all sizes pass by a day! I really think that in this area trucks should be given another route. Thanks a lot!
It is correct it is a very tricky road for students who are crossing. thanks to the police [crossing guard] who helps the children cross but it is dangerous the crossing of 60 and 3
The amount of traffic and the speeding trying to catch the light with concerns of the pedestrians crossing
Yes, very heavy truck traffic
It is very dangerous, when you are going to turn either right or left, you have to take precautions, as we try to go correctly.
