Poor Truck Network Connections
Poor Network Connections
Farmers Boulevard - 109 Ave - 109 Rd

Trucks heading north on Farmers Blvd would have to drive the wrong way down a one way street to continue onto the truck route on Liberty Av. Also, if trucks are heading north, they are expected to turn west onto Liberty Av, go up 168 St, and then double back east along Jamaica Av. This is a very indirect path. Allowing trucks to continue north along Farmers Blvd would make more sense

Vandervoort Ave - Beadel St - Lombardy St - Brooklyn

Vandervoort Ave is a truck route and has now turned into a loading dock for Regina’s Caterers. It causes excessive honking for blocking the lanes and also blocks sidewalks and the streets with their boxes and pallets. Major congestion trying to get to the BQE. Vandervoort Ave should not be used as a loading dock if it’s a truck route.

Hi, right on the corner of this address are 2 or 3 schools, elementary and junior. Is a very busy street and a lot, lot big and long trucks use this street. I think is a very smart and stoning idea, to do something about it, and keep everyone safe, specifically children. Thank you!
