All Trucks and Cars should be Banned, Grand street should be 100% for bikes. The local business should only cater to people who ride bikes. perople who drive should eat else where.
Grand Street should be 100% Bikes. No Cars, No Buses, No Ambulance or Fire Trucks. We pay no insurance but would like entire streets dedicated to us bike riders. Police, Ambulance and Firefighters should invest in bikes to carry the wounded, carry criminals and put out fires.
This pedestrain crossing is one of the most dangerous in the city. Speeding cars turning left not expecting the crosswalk - major rework needed to prevent loss of life.
Metropolitan Ave is super dangerous for bikes with heavy truck traffic and speeding cars, bad road surface and no bike lanes. The street should be improved to increase safety for peds and bikes.
Trucks making deliveries always double park on this block, blocking one-way traffic and making pedestrians walk around and drivers drive around with low visitbility. Super dangerous. We need proper loading zones and enforcement.
The subway entrance is here this intersection badly needs daylight and traffic calming

There's NEVER a safe time to cross this intersection. Either cars are turning onto Marcy from eastbound Metropolitan Ave, or they are turning from westbound metropolitan. There's never a break where pedestrians can just comfortably cross without fear of being run over.
This is such a nightmare for pedestrians It's filty beyond belief. DOT controls much of the space but does not maintain it. It's alwasy sterwn with trash, and there are so many pigeons in the overhead highway that the sidewalks are covered in bird shit. It's repulsive and the loud constant traffic makes it worse. We need DOT to maintain the space, for pigeon netting to be placed iunder the highway, for lighting to be improved, and for bollard to be installed to give pedestrians a sense of safety from the traffic
