There is no cross walk or bump outs and a lot of parking that blocks pedestrians from crossing. Considering this is the immediate exit south for commuters on the L from Manhattan it feels like an easy high impact place
Welcome to the Grand St and Metropolitan Ave Feedback Portal!
Use the feedback map to share your vision for each corridor. Where do you want to see specific improvements for pedestrians, bus riders, cyclists and businesses?
NYC DOT will incorporate your comments into subsequent phases of the project.

protected bike lock ups would be great for residents

There’s a massive sinkhole
Lots of illegal parking for the bars at night, pushes cars and bikes around and into spaces they shouldn’t be
much of the public parking south of grand blocks visibility while turning and leaves pedestrians exposed when cars wish to turn quickly
Too many blended forms of transportation and unprotected turning lanes lends some vehicles to try and rush through crosswalks when turning
street parking creates poor visibility for vehicles and in turn they creep into the pedestrian lanes often without noticing someone crossing
