Cars making right turns at this intersection never slow down or yield to pedestrians. It's incredibly unsafe and will only get worse with increased truck traffic. Please look into this.
Bike lane constantly blocked by illegally parked cars
There should be a crosswalk across Leonard here, as there is at Lorimer. Although NYS law is that cars have to yield to pedestrians at intersections, in practice none of the cars do.

Most dangerous crosswalk in the city that I regularly use is the crosswalk across Metropolitan on the west side of the BQE. When pedestrians have a walk signal, the cars on Meeker have a yellow turn signal. But the cars are coming off of a freeway and are antsy and don't really understand that they do really have to yield. The cars constantly threaten pedestrians; someone is going to get killed here.
In my experience, there are ALWAYS cars or trucks parked here blocking the bike lane. It's not just that I have to swerve into traffic to get around them, they also often completely block off the entry to the concrete-barrier protected bike lane, so most of the time I have to travel in the car lane and no one can use the bike lane for the entire block.
This is a big intersection that's generally busy. Bikes need better infrastructure (in general) but here specifically for left turns from Morgan onto Grand.
Cars drive very dangerously on these blocks of Grand. Consider daylighting and narrowing the streets with larger, jersey barrier protected bike lanes.
