Pedestrians cross without the walk sign. Jaywalking is a problem here
Difficult to navigate this area after getting off the bus
There was an 18 wheeler parked in with the engine on idling in the center lane on Bay Street on June 22nd in the 7 o'clock hour for at least 30 minutes. This is not acceptable, it's right next to ball fields where kids and community members are playing. I have a picture
I was almost struck down by an SUV turning left from Degraw onto Columbia tonight that decided just to not yield to me at all while I had the crossing light. This intersection's crossing distances are huge and it is very unsafe for pedestrians because of all the traffic. Please improve safety here!
High speed traffic getting off highway speeding on to sidewalk because there are no dividers separating local traffic and traffic coming off highway
Crossing Columbia on President, which is right down from a very popular park at Mother Cabrini Park is so hard.
Need an east/west bike connection between Valentino Pier and Ikea. With all the torn up streets and cobblestone, there's no good way to navigate this hole in the greenway.
Ferris St needs bike lanes! It's part of the Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway route. There should be some sort of bike infrastructure.
Conover St bike lane (King to Pioneer), part of Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway, needs to be protected. It has appeared as a protected bike lane on every DOT bike map since 2014, but in reality, it has always just been an unprotected, buffered bike lane. Cars and trucks frequently drive or park in the bike lane and this is especially hazardous to southbound cyclists who are then put in the path of oncoming traffic. Put some Jersey barriers in the buffer!
