The cobblestone street here is not fit for freights barreling down it at 40 MPH. It wrecks the already pot-holed road and is a danger to the residents of this street. It is already marked with a no truck sign on Conover and Coffey, but this doesn't stop these huge freights from plowing through, not to mention the incredible banging noise this makes at all hours. Perhaps a camera to hold them accountable?
Crossing the street here is very difficult
Cross street visibility is very bad at this intersection
Hard to ride a bike around the BQE area
Lots of freight trucks make it difficult to bike around
A lot of Amazon trucks/vans parked along Bay St which causes traffic congestion and is dangerous to bike.
Cars especially trucks make wide turns into Columbia St.
Trucks coming off the BQE create heavy conflicts
Driver visibility is an issue on this intersection
Pedestrians cross without the walk sign. Jaywalking is a problem here
