Good Citi Bike Station location
Good Location for a Citi Bike Station
77 St - 4 Ave - 5 Ave

Off a subway station, thoroughfare for pedestrians circulating the neighborhood. 4th Ave is a large avenue with little to no commercial activity and has "eyes on the street" to prevent vandalism to the stations. Excellent and ideal location for a Citi Bike station.

Not suitable for Citi Bike Station
Location Not Suitable for Citi Bike Station
7 Ave - 76 St - 77 St

Despite there being a protected bike lane, the road encourages fast and dangerous driving, making this place unsuitable for increased pedestrian activity as a result of a station. It would be better to place the station further inside the neighborhood. Station may become neglected or abused due to the lack of "eyes on the street."

5 Ave - 77 St - 78 St

Popular intersection for pedestrian activity, thoroughfare for Subway (77th / 4th Stop), and thoroughfare to shared bike lane on 6th Ave and protected bike lane on 7th Ave.

Bay Ridge Ave - Shore Rd - Shore Rd Greenway

Excellent spot for commuting to the ferry and take a ride along the bike path. Placing the racks under the highway will help to eliminate illegal parking in that area. Lastly, there will be no impact on valuable residential parking in Bay Ridge.

Please add bike docks near the northern entrance to the Bay Ridge Ave R stop at 68th Street and 4th. It would be right next to the bike lane on 68th.

I humbly submit to add bike docks to 3rd and 68th near the 68th St bike lane.

I *know* Visitation is technically still private property, but it would be extremely ideal and the best, most efficient use of space to somehow make Visitation (or at the very least part of the property) a public park and THEN put the Citibike station there. Space is so valuable in Bay Ridge. The fact that Visitation (a now closed school) takes up a whole city block and no one can use that space is really frustrating. I'm a lifelong resident of Bay Ridge and I hate that wall of Visitation. There's a pond back there and green space that no one can take advantage of. Put the bikes there!!!!!!

Perfect spot for a bike station. Plenty of residents can take advantage, but PLEASE do not take up valuable parking spaces!!!!! Use the triangle in the middle, or the corner of Ridge that they have already (foolishly) blocked off, ridding us of a parking space.

86th and 4th would be a disaster for a bike station. Way too many pedestrians, buses, cars, and trucks in this intersection. Needs to be out of this busy hub.

Open area, needs hardening, multiple apartment buildings at intersection. won't take away street parking.
