Because there are five schools between Ridge Blvd and 3rd Avenue on 86th Street, that is NOT a good place for bicycles.

This is a quiet intersection - a good safe location for a station.
Stop bringing these expensive bikes here. There is not enough parking. Stop.
Because of all the buses and the subway station at 86th Street and 4th Avenue, that is NOT a good location for bicycles.
88th & 4th is a horrible place for a Citibike station. The block is already super congested with CityMD/Health Check/Harbor Fitness clients, valet from Ponte Vechio/Arirang, multiple city busses that idle & PS 264. Parking is hell for the people who actually live on this block. This is coming from someone who loves the idea of available shared bikes but we cannot keep saturating one area. Time to be fair.
Not a good place for the bikes. Its extremely busy area and the side walks are too narrow to put the bikes. It should be in areas were there is more access to the park, less car congestion and just safer for the bike riders.
These bikes should be placed around any of the numerous green spaces or schools: not in parking spaces on residential or commercial streets. There are plenty of places to put them by parks, piers and schools that will not disrupt every other citizen's life.
