Tons of space to put a citibike rack with little impact on parking.

This turn often has cars blocking the view via parking. Making driving not as safe for bike riders like me. Citibike rack here would help “daylight” the turn and improve visibility.

Good location. The street is mostly used for storage of random trucks and has LOTS of space to put in a bike rack without much disruption to community. Also this intersection becomes the route if u ride up from Borough park to park slope and south slope!

surrounded by dense housing, also would be nice to have the dock right next to the bikeway to allow for ease of getting on/off the path

a dock at hefferman triangle provides easy access from subway station, and with the crosswalk at the intersection of 9th/39th, cyclists who want to travel southbound will choose to cross the intersection at the crosswalk before biking south, rather than if the dock was located right outside the station, cyclists would try to cross and start biking south in the middle of 9th ave which could risk getting them hit

This would be a great location right by the bike path. It would incentivize more biking up to Prospect Park and beyond or down to Coney Island.

Citibike connectivity along the F/G train is really important. When citibike docs right next to the station fill up or empty, we need nearby alternatives. Traffic calming is always a good benefit of citibike docks too. Private car parking is much less important.
