More bikes near the park! Would be great to have them at all 4 corners of the park
At the end of the pedestrian bridge is a good spot for a bike station.
Anywhere around 18th Street and 4th Avenue if parking spots would be reduced is a terrible idea. A 76 unit building with an 8 parking spot garage just opened on this corner and another large condo building is opening on the corner of 18th Street and 5th Avenue. Us senior citizens cannot be expected to ride bicycles in NYC traffic and must have cars to go to doctor’s appointments, run errands, see relatives. Many additional people have bought cars during the pandemic in order to avoid public transportation exposure. Please please please do not further reduce street parking capacity.
At the end of th pedestrian bridge is a large sidewalk that would easily accommodate bike station.

On the park side of 18th, but at the curb. This small park would benefit from a citibike dock
We need more stations in this area! I work at Industry City and the docks are always full when I arrive in the morning...
I would take CitiBike to work at Industry City more often if there were open docks in the area. It's usually not an issue getting a bike to leave Industry City, but getting there by bike is usually impossible by 9:30 am or so.
Citi Bike is a great service, however the current distribution is incredibly inequitable. As a long-time south slope resident it stinks that I can only use Citi Bike above 15th street (the docks at industry city are always full and not convenient for me). We need Citi Bike expansion, and we need it now, and rapidly. Please do not let curmudgeons whining about the loss of a parking space or two distract DOT for swiftly making way for dozens of new docks across South Brooklyn and beyond. Bike share is safe and sustainable transportation. We need to do more to accommodate it on our streets. Thank you.
