Good Citi Bike Station location
Good Location for a Citi Bike Station
7 Ave - 22 St - 23 St

There is some channelization / NSA for visibility here on the west curb that would be a great location for a station while maintaining visibility.

Please do not put it on 41st Street but on 5th Avenue on 41st (between 41st and 42nd). Thank you

The east sidewalk of 7th Ave b/w 20th - 23rd is pretty wide adjacent to the cemetery / edge condition. I think one station next to the beer garden isn't enough - it will be heavily used by people going to the schools as well.

Great intersection for a station due to the schools, bus stops. However, the stations would be better if sited in the north side / roadbed of Prospect Ave rather than 7th. There is a ton of double parking on 7th, plus the bus stops limit the area that can be used. Prospect is slightly quieter. A ton of people are always waiting for the b69/b67 and it would be great to have an option to hop on a bike instead when buses are delayed.

The sidewalks between 18th St and 17th St and on the overpass are wide, have an edge condition. There are also No Parking Anytime regs for daylighting that are never followed, locating the stations there would improve safety. Finally, the slip lanes for 18th St crossing 7th Ave should be closed and would create a large area that could be used for roadbed stations. When not busy with the schools, this corridor has extra foot / bike traffic on the weekends for the beer garden "Greenwood Park"

It makes a lot of sense to put a Citibike docking Station at the intersection of 25th Street and 4th Avenue. It's right by the 25th Street subway station which is a local stop. That subway stop tends not to run on the weekends due to repairs or maintenance. Having a bike there would make it easier to commute to an express stop or just use the bike to ride where one is traveling to. I see many people using Citibikes in the area and they would appreciate not having to go all the way to Industry City just to dock or get a bike, I being one of the people.
