Not suitable for Citi Bike Station
Location Not Suitable for Citi Bike Station
5 Ave - 38 St - 39 St

I agree, the corner of 39th Street and 5th Ave are not suitable for a bike station. There is too much car/truck/bus traffic here for a safe spot for people to dock/undock bikes. Putting a docking station here would be adding more chaos to an already hectic street corner.

Extensive foot traffic between the park and local stores on 5th Ave warrant a docking station in this location. If there were to be a docking station near Sunset Park (the actual park), 5th avenue between 41st & 43rd Streets would be optimal locations - far enough from the store and bus stop on 44th Street.

59th Street would benefit having a large docking station next to the N & R subway station. There is enough foot traffic from the subway stations alone to warrant a docking station, not to mention that there is school on the corner, and Brooklyn Army Terminal & a hospital are both two blocks away. Lastly, the DOT's green bikeway runs across 4th avenue here, so it would be silly to have a bikeway but no bikes to service this area of Brooklyn.

Extremely popular destination is Sunset Park with extensive bike & foot traffic (but severely lacks proper bike infrastructure). This would be a fantastic mid-point docking station between Industry City and Brooklyn Army Terminal. It would also be located a block away from the Bush Terminal Park and future Steiner Studios location.

Right next to Rainbow Park, an extremely popular neighborhood park with large foot traffic. As noted by others, it would make sense to place it on the avenue right in front of the park entrance, and not on one of the neighboring side streets.

Please put a Citibike station in at/near the tennis center entrance.

Great to link the Tennis Center to the subway, particularly on the weekends. Planned track work often disrupts service, making it difficult for people to get to the PPTC
