Good location
A CItibike dock in between the curb cuts at Dunkin Donuts make sense, as it would prevent cars form parking there and create better visibility for moving vehicles in and out of the parking lot to see pedestrians crossing. It is also close proximity to local train station and Greenwood Cemetery.
Accessible to Sunset Park... bikers could ride north to City Bike hubs, or west to Industry City.
The neighborhoods south of Prospect Park are ripe for more bicycling infrastructure. I live near the corner of E 16th and Cortelyou Road. I see more bicycles in the neighborhood than I ever have before. These bicyclists include people commuting for work, people making deliveries, and parents escorting their kids around for errands. These people deserve safe and accessible bicycling infrastructure. The location I selected would be an optimal location based on proximity to the Parkside Ave Q train stop and providing better access to the commercial corridors nearby like Church Ave, Flatbush Ave, Cortelyou Road, and Newkirk Ave.
On 25th street next to the Manhattan-bound R entrance. Good to connect modes of transportation
23rd street on the east side of 4th avenue, either next to the bodega or next to the laundromat
There is a wide sidewalk near the base of the pedestrian overpass at the intersection of Prospect Ave & Greenwood Ave. This location is also a few hundred feet away from a F/G subway entrance.
I think near but not literally in front of the Greenwood Cemetery main entrance likely makes the most sense for all involved.
Many people work at Industry City and the two stations nearby are often full by mid-morning and empty before the evening.
