East 56 St - Lexington Ave - 3 Ave

We have very limited stations in this area, people get off the subway and grab bike and there's almost never any bikes left for the localers. We need more bikes from 59th Street all the way down to 40th Street between Madison and 3rd Avenue. Please be aware, where we have subways there is a significant need for bikes/bike stations - 5 times more than the usual bike stations. You can run a quick survey on the CitiBike app.; If you do a short daily survey/review, you'll notice almost no bikes are available everyday (morning and evening peak hours and almost all day on weekends) at the limited stations between 59th and 40th Street from Madison Avenue to 3rd Avenue!

55th Street has a bike lane with one station on 2nd Avenue and the next station is 6th Avenue. 2nd Avenue and 55th Street almost never has any bikes available for pick-up and the same applies for 55th and 6th Avenue, especially during peak hours. We need more bikes from 59th Street all the way down to 40th Street between Madison and 3rd Avenue. If you do a short daily survey, you'll notice almost no bikes are available everyday (morning and evening peak hours and almost all day on weekends) at the limited stations within the above vicinity!

This dock (currently relocated to W78 near Amsterdam due to sidewalk construction on Amsterdam between 78 & 79) is often near empty during the day. While new stations proposed for W 81 and W 77 on Columbus are great locations, there are also conflicts with those (trees and the Sunday farmer's market, respectively). The sidewalk here is huge and the station could be extended the full block to add capacity.

West 81 St - 79 St Transverse - Columbus Ave

This would be a great spot for a station as it is close to mass transit and the station at W 79 & Bway is usually near empty during the day. However....there are large trees that break up the otherwise considerable sidewalk space...this could work if the station can be in 2 or 3 sections.

Underhill Ave - St Johns Pl - Lincoln Pl

This station is often empty. Additional bikes/docks here or near the Library/Prospect Park northwest entrance would be great!

The bike stand at 20th & 2nd has been out for a long time. It would be helpful to have another on 2nd ave so that you could jump in the bike lane to head downtown easily.

Bike racks are consistently full here due to high drop off volume and popularity

The CitiBike location on 18th and 6th is still out of service and I am looking for a close replacement.

Often stations close to the subway are either empty or full. Add capacity in the neighboring areas would be great.
